The food is incredible and generous portions! I had the Chilaquiles, husband had an omelet and my kids shared eggs, bacon and a cinnamon roll. Everything was top notch, so delicious and fresh! We had just come from Yosemite where my kids would not eat a thing from the cafeteria there and they gobbled all of their food from here and then took 2 hour naps on the way home! Our server was so sweet and responsive as well. We also got a seat right away on a Saturday!

Lovely staff with ingredient quality to match. The eggs were super fluffy and reminded me of French omelettes but even fluffier. Mushrooms they used were oyster mushrooms. Worth the drive to get fantastic food if you're anywhere around the area.

Wonderful clean and welcoming cafe with great food. Farm to table is true. For example, the mushrooms are grown specifically for them and are the oyster variety! Produce and pork come from their farm 3 miles away and you can easily taste the difference. Very friendly and kind staff in spite of being short handed and very busy. Very impressed with them working so well together and be kind and helpful towards each other. Sat at the counter and enjoyed conversation with the chefs! Loved the biscuits and gravy perfectly seasoned with lots of sausage. Added two eggs over easy. A little dash of the super tasty (and spicy) hot sauce and had a great breakfast. Also had the omelet with the mushrooms and ham along with fresh fruit and toast with honey butter. Coffee was hot and plentiful. PS - Chicken fried steak is HUGE and comes smothered in sausage gravy. Definitely recommend visiting when in Mariposa!

Came for late lunch. They close early at 3pm Thursday thru Monday . They have an upgraded cafe vibe. Got the butterfly lemonade Very floral and reallly good . We shared the mushroom melt on sourdough. It was very good we were surprised by the sweetness. The flavor was good it just seemed like it could have use more mushrooms and cheese. There were several bites where it was just toast, onion and aioli... otherwise good flavor. Also got the garlic fries they were good but could have used maybe some Parmesan or truffle oil... it was ok just again missing something... believe this place could be killer just a few things could use some extra pieces to make it wow!

We stopped by twice during our travel adventures. Located in the middle of quaint Downtown Mariposa, Happy Goat provides some delicious omelette and French toasts options (our go-to's). We got the following throughout our two visits: coffee, Omelette (with salsa and/or avocado), regular French Toast, special Tiramisu French Toast, and Eggs Benedict. I liked how thick and juicy the ham pieces were in the omelette and how fluffy the eggs were. Their salsa and biscuit are amazing. French Toast was always a hit, especially the Tiramisu version, which had an espresso based bread and their delicious vanilla bean cream. The service was always spot-on, and prices were decent. We also liked the classic diner feel the ambiance had.

I was a bit worried stopping to visit this place because of the mixed reviews, but it was better than expected. My friend and I were sat immediately (probably because it was earlier in the day). The decor is very cute and it's relaxing. The place is a little small, and bathrooms are outside. We were given our menus and had a lot to choose from. I chose the chicken wrap with a side of fruit. The wrap tasted as expected. It had a lot of avocado which was great. I would have loved a kick of spicy, but that's what sauce is for. The fruit was good, just really small. The service was good. We didn't get checked on too often but that was fine. We got our food in a timely matter and enjoyed it. Overall, I would come again and try something new!

Workers are nice. Parking is easy. Food is really good actually. Portions are very generous. The fruit was soooo sweet, dunno if it's the farm-to-table that makes it that delicious Restroom is outside around the corner - clean, single.

So I'll preface this by saying it would be a 3.5 if I could, but I'm giving the goat the benefit of the doubt. The interior is very welcoming and pleasant to be in, with a very pleasing white and green diner style seating area. The menu is expansive but not too intimidating, however for a farm to table restaurant we were shocked at how few salad options they had. That said we opted for a couple of sandwiches to get a feel for the fare. The chicken sando was a little bit of a miss for us, some fermented flavor permeated it and we think somewhere between the buffalo sauce and whatever fermented flavor we were picking up made it a bit of a flop. Nice and spicy and if you like that sort of thing it would be delicious. The Mariposa fire burger was good! A bit overcooked as we ordered medium rare and it came out medium well, waxy tomatoes and no onions were a bit of a disappointment, but our server was very pleasant and brought us some when we asked. The sweet potato fries were good and overall I enjoyed my meal I'll definitely be trying something else next time, but I will definitely give them another shot. It's worth mentioning there is a dearth of decent food in Mariposa so this is definitely worth a look.

This was such a lovely restaurant, and we all love brunch all day. We were a party of five and admittedly the booth was a little crammed for our group, but we made do. Normally I'd order eggs Benedict but by the time we were eating (1pm?) they were out of them. Instead I went for a mushroom burger and holy cow that might've been one of the best, most satisfyingly umami burgers I've ever had. (Maybe more sandwich sized than burger sized.) I did get garlic fries with the dish, the fries were okay. I think they felt like a slightly upgraded in-and-out fry, where it's somehow too potato-y in texture, so I'm sure some people would appreciate it, but I wanted something more fried-tasting. I also ordered a lavender lemonade, and was disappointed they ran out of butterfly pea syrup. That was the entire point! But the drink itself was quite tasty. Realistically I'm not going to come back here again any time soon (I don't live anywhere near Yosemite), but I'd recommend it if you're looking for a place to eat!
